Yellowknife City Council

The Yellowknife City Council is the governing body of the city of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. The council consists of a mayor and eight councilors elected to three year terms.[1] The current mayor of Yellowknife is Mark Heyck. First elected in October 2000, he was acclaimed in 2003 and 2006, going on to win against two candidates in 2009.
