Grassland is a hamlet in northern Alberta in Athabasca County,[2] located on Highway 63, 151 kilometres (94 mi) northeast of Edmonton. Grassland has four gas stations, five restaurants, a fire hall, and a school.[citation needed]
Demographics[edit]
As a designated place in the 2011 Census, Grassland had a population of 94 living in 31 of its 40 total dwellings, a 28.8% change from its 2006 population of 73. With a land area of 1.48 km2 (0.57 sq mi), it had a population density of 63.5/km2 (164.5/sq mi) in 2011.[3]
