Alhambra is a hamlet in Alberta, Canada within Clearwater County.[1] It is located close to the David Thompson Highway, east of Rocky Mountain House.

The hamlet is located in census division No. 9. It was first settled in 1906 and named Alhambra when the railroad arrived in 1914.[2]

Demographics[edit]

Statistics Canada has not recently published a population for Alhambra.

However, Industry Canada shows that Alhambra's greater rural area had a total population of 447 living in 164 dwellings in 2001. With a land area of 188.99 km2 (72.97 sq mi), its greater rural area has a population density of 2.4/km2 (6.2/sq mi).[3]
