List of sovereign states in Europe by minimum wage
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The following list provides information relating to the minimum wages of countries in Europe for 2013.[1] The calculations are based on the assumption of a 40-hour working week and a 52-week year, with the exceptions of France which has a 35-hour workweek, Belgium and the United Kingdom which have a 38-hour workweek, Ireland and Romania which have a 39-hour workweek, Georgia which has a 41-hour workweek and Turkey which has a 45-hour workweek (for more details see List of minimum wages by country). Currency conversions from non-euro currencies are based on average exchange rates for 2012.[2]
