Scope[edit]

The project's scope includes all subjects predominantly pertaining to human rights, such as:

  • types of human rights or rights violations
  • laws and court decisions pertaining to human rights
  • individuals or organizations known for human rights advocacy
  • recipients of major human rights prizes
  • individuals who are subjects of major advocacy by human rights groups, such as Amnesty International-designated prisoners of conscience
  • genocides, pogroms, war crimes, police brutality, censorship, and other events widely discussed in a human rights context

  • Create, expand, and improve other articles within the project's scope
  • Provide a centralized location for discussion of human rights topics
  • Update and maintain Portal:Human rights as a comprehensive and navigable portal
