Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud (CSDCCS, known as French-language Separate District School Board No. 64 prior to 1999[3]) is the Roman Catholic separate, French language school board for the South-Central region of Ontario. It is headquartered in the Centre d'éducation catholique Omer-Deslauriers (Omer Deslauriers Centre of Catholic Education) in North York, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.[4][5] This school board has 54 schools in total in all of Southern Ontario, stretching from Barrie to Welland. Until 1998, the board in Toronto was known as Le Conseil des écoles catholiques du Grand Toronto (CECGT).

History[edit]

The board was created in 1953 as Le Conseil des écoles catholiques du Grand Toronto and was reorganised in 1998 as the Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud, resulting in the separation of French and English language schools, the latter of which are now part of the Toronto Catholic District School Board.
