Phillip Jordan Ellis Benn[1] (born July 26, 1987) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing for the Dallas Stars in the National Hockey League. He is the older brother of Dallas Stars forward and captain Jamie Benn.[2][3]
On January 3, 2012, Benn made his NHL debut against the Detroit Red Wings, playing alongside his younger brother Jamie. Both Benn brothers assisted on a goal by Loui Eriksson, which was the first career NHL point for Benn.[4]
On March 23, 2013, Benn scored his first career NHL goal against Semyon Varlamov of the Colorado Avalanche.
