An autonomous province is an autonomous administrative division. Examples are the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija, Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Trentino and South Tyrol. Another example is Gilgit-Baltistan whose status is disputed as part of the Kashmir conflict is an semi-autonomous province of Pakistan since 2009.
