Help update[edit]

The Tip of the day department has been reinvigorated by a new driving force. Joe Hebda is leading the effort to update the tip library, and maintaining a buffer of tips prepared to go live. The buffer now extends out about 2 months from the current date. The work includes revising tips and replacing obsolete tips with new ones. If you find a spare moment, stop by and have a look. And if you have any cool tips on how to get things done faster or better, please share! The Transhumanist 18:39, 5 October 2015 (UTC)

Canada Coat of Arms[edit]

"Used for purposes of illustration in an educational article about the Arms of Canada. This image illustrates the use of traditional French and British motifs, as well specific Canadian symbols, in a coat of arms designed by the Canadian Heraldic Authority. As heraldry is a visual medium, the reader's understanding of the subject matter is enhanced by an image depicting how French, British and Canadian motifs are melded together into a specifically Canadian design." Thanks for the advice, Moxy[edit]

Wow, https://tools.wmflabs.org/refill/ is so much easier than anything else I have tried for fixing citations. I just hope it works well. (AND you seem to be Canadian too; Bonus!)

(This is what I am referring to: Ok lets do it this way (all will have to give you time to do this in two steps)......add your ref as you have been doing ("[1]")....then go to this external tool (that you can bookmark) and type out the articles name then click on the FIX PAGE and then fill in any missing data if need be (it will guide you all the way.). -- Moxy (talk) 19:32, 10 November 2015 (UTC) Thanks, Moxy OK, I used that tool to fix the citations on this Wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danby_(appliances) (I wrote much of the content). It was simple but I don't know if it worked properly.)

List of Canadian monarchs[edit]

Howdy Moxy. I think you accidently knocked out my last post, at that article's talkpage. GoodDay (talk) 18:14, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

OMG i did so sorry was not my intent. -- Moxy (talk) 18:18, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

Notification of RfC on Eagles of Death Metal at Content Resolution Noticeboard[edit]

Greetings,

As you have suggested, a discussion of the content dispute about content proposed for the Eagles of Death Metal article, in which you are involved (and named in the RfC) has been opened at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Dispute_resolution_noticeboard#Talk:Eagles_of_Death_Metal.23Threats_to_bataclan_wording.

You are invited to participate in this discussion.

Thank you, and all the best.

RfC - thanks[edit]

Greetings,

Thanks for the offer to the RfC for me, though I'd already posted it by the time I saw your offer. In any case, I felt that since I'd brought up the issue, justice dictates that I learn the wiki-skills to process it properly instead of burdening more experienced editors --like you -- with the work that I should really be doing. I would appreciate any constructive criticism on my style, presentation, etc., so that I may improve in the future. Do you think I submitted the RfC competently, or did I make any mistakes or leave anything out? Did I do the notifications properly?

In any case, thanks again for the help. It'll. e interesting to see how this plays out. Did

All the best.
