The Windsor Police Service is a police force originally established on July 1, 1867, to provide service to the City of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It succeeded the Royal Canadian Rifle Regiment
The current Chief of Police is Al Frederick, appointed December 22, 2011.[7] Chief Frederick's appointment is interim while the Windsor Police Services Board conducts a process to appoint a permanent Chief following the unexpected retirement of previous Chief Gary Smith.

As a smaller force WPS does not have police stations, but a small number of service centres:
- Major FA Tilston Armoury & Police Training Centre - shared with the Canadian Forces
- Sandwich Community Services
- Collision Reporting Centre
