The Canadian Lacrosse Association (French : l'Association canadienne de crosse ), founded in 1867,[ 1] is the governing body of lacrosse in Canada . It conducts national junior and senior championship tournaments for men and women in both field and box lacrosse . National teams also participates in the World Indoor Lacrosse Championship and World Lacrosse Championship .
In a tax law dispute, the association had its status as a registered amateur athletic association stripped by the Canada Revenue Agency on June 7, 2010.[ 2]
