The County of Two Hills No. 21 is a municipal district in east-central Alberta, Canada. Located in Census Division No. 10, its municipal office is located in the Town of Two Hills.

History[edit]

The County of Two Hills No. 21 was formed in 1963 through the amalgamation of the Municipal District of Eagle No. 81 and the Two Hills School Division.

Demographics[edit]

In the 2011 Census, the County of Two Hills No. 21 had a population of 3,160 living in 1,058 of its 1,222 total dwellings, an 8.3% change from its 2006 adjusted population of 2,918. With a land area of 2,631.33 km2 (1,015.96 sq mi), it had a population density of 1.2/km2 (3.1/sq mi) in 2011.[2]

In 2006, the County of Two Hills No. 21 had a population of 2,801 living in 1,194 dwellings, a 7.2% increase from 2001. The countyhas a land area of 2,630.95 km2 (1,015.82 sq mi) and a population density of 1.1/km2 (2.8/sq mi).[3]

In 2001, the municipal district had a population of 2,614 in 1,356 dwellings, a 5% decrease from 1996. On a surface of 2,629.40 km² it had a density of 1 inhabitant/km².[4]
