- April 27 – Canada's largest known landslide occurred in Saint-Alban, Quebec. Displeasing 185 million cubic metres (6.5×109 cu ft) of rock and dirt, leaving a 40 metres (130 ft) scar, that covered covered 4.6 million square metres (50×106 sq ft).[1][2]
