Carbondale, Alberta

Carbondale is a hamlet in central Alberta, Canada within Sturgeon County.[1] It is located 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) west of Highway 28, approximately 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) north of Edmonton's city limits.
Demographics[edit]
As a designated place in the 2011 Census, Carbondale had a population of 86 living in 35 of its 40 total dwellings, a 43.3% change from its 2006 population of 60. With a land area of 1.11 km2 (0.43 sq mi), it had a population density of 77.5/km2 (200.7/sq mi) in 2011.[2]
