Sierra Leonean English

Sierra Leonean English is the dialect of English spoken by Sierra Leoneans.

Pronunciation[edit]

Sierra Leonean English realizes /r/ as a voiced uvular fricative, or, more rarely, a uvular trill.[1] This is rare among accents of English.[2]
