Bishan is a village in Jhajjar district of Haryana under Beri tehsil, India. The village is about 5 km from the famous town Beri. Bishan follows the Gram Panchayat system. The village has undergone a transformation under the panchayat.

Today Bishan is well known for the high proportion of officers and soldiers it contributes to the Indian Army and other Armed Forces of India.The village made news in October 2014, when General Dalbir Singh Suhag was appointed as a new Army Chief of India.

Bishan is situated near the Beri town on Gurgaon-Bhiwani-Hisar-Sirsa Highway with easy road access to Rohtak, Bhiwani, Tosham, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Hisar, Sirsa, Palwal, Hanumangarh, Ganganagar, Delhi, Chandigarh, and Jaipur. The nearest Metro station on the Delhi metro Green Line will be located in the Bahadurgarh 35 kilometres away.

Bishan auto Stand has no regular services to Beri that's why villagers have their own vehicles and they use it to go to Beri but from Beri bus Stand regular bus services to the nearby towns and villages: Jhajjar-Delhi; Rohtak-Panipat-Karnal-Ambala-Chandigarh; Jhajjar-Gurgaon-Faridabad-Palwal-Nuh-Mathura; Kalanaur-Bhiwani-Tosham-Siwani; Meham-Hansi-Hisar-Fatehabad-Sirsa-Dabwali-Ellenabad-Bhatinda-Sri Ganganagar.

The nearest railway station is Jhajjar Station at a distance of 15 km. Other major stations close to Beri are: Rohtak 30 km; Bhiwani 47 km; Rewari 62 km; and Delhi 65 km.
