White Jamaicans or European Jamaicans are Jamaicans whose ancestry lies within the continent of Europe, most notably Germany, England, Ireland, and Scotland.[1]
As of 2013, people of solely European descent are a small minority in Jamaica making up only 3.2% of the population. Mixed race people, who are predominantly of African and European ancestry, constitute an additional 7.3% of the population.[2]
