Prasad Panda born 1963 is a Canadian politician who was elected in a by-election to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta representing the electoral district of Calgary-Foothills,[1] replacing former Alberta Premier Jim Prentice.

Panda defeated former Calgary city councillor and Alberta NDP candidate Bob Hawkesworth with a majority of 1607, and around 12% of the popular vote.[2]
