Canadians in France

Canadians in France or Québécois in France are people born in Canada who emigrated to France.[2]

Demographics[edit]

Population size[edit]

The Canadian community in France is estimated at approximately 60,000 Canadians.[3]

Overview[edit]

French culture has long had a strong influence in Canada, particularly in Quebec and New Brunswick, with their secondary education and universities tailored to the French model.[citation needed] This is a reason why many Canadians have found France attractive as a country to pursue higher studies; many of them decided to stay.
