Hi Rjwilmsi,

My name's Anthony, and I'm Social Media Editor for IBTMedia. I'm doing a story about the big announcement re: Privacy Policy changes that are rolling out tomorrow, and I'd love to talk to you. Would you email me at a.smith[at]ibtimes.com? Thanks!

Baffled[edit]

I was most curious to see that an edit I had made to the talk page of your bot had been undone: on looking at the page the bot had been given a notification for a speedy placed on Ruben Correa. Most peculiar, since the bot did not write the paged (as the editor who undid the edit commented, nor did I speedy this article. What's up, doc?TheLongTone (talk) 12:59, 20 October 2015 (UTC)

I'm still baffled but heigho, I'm a bear of very little brain and these fancy television sets with an attached keyboard always mystify me...thanks for replying anyway!TheLongTone (talk) 13:27, 23 October 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
