Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling, Concordia University
The Museum’s Oral History Program began with the support of the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling at Concordia University in Montréal, Québec. The Centre’s faculty and staff visited Winnipeg in 2010 to meet with Museum staff to provide training in oral history methodology and practise. Today, the Centre continues to be a valued friend of the Museum’s Oral History Program.
Oral History Centre, University of Winnipeg
Founded in 2012, the Oral History Centre at the University of Winnipeg runs a visiting scholar and lecture series, provides ongoing training in oral history methodology, and shares its dedicated recording studio and equipment with community affiliates.
The Oral History Centre and the Museum’s Oral History Program are currently collaborating on a number of initiatives.
