Fair Share

Fair Share is an advance registration program that assigns school visit spots to schools in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Canada, ensuring that the Museum is truly accessible to all Canadian schools.

In Manitoba, spots are proportionally assigned to school divisions and independent schools by the Museum based on student population and other equity measures. Public schools in Manitoba should consult with school superintendents for more information on the number of Fair Share spots assigned to their division. Independent schools should consult with their school principal.

Communications about Fair Share are sent to school leaders in March every year. Fair Share bookings must be made in May and June for programs taking place in the following school year. Please note that a Fair Share spot is not required to book a school visit. You can book your school visit today. All requests are handled on a first come, first served basis. Fair Share only allows you to book early bird spots for the following school year.
