The Information Commissioner was added as a party in two cases before the Federal Court - Porter Airlines Inc. v. Attorney General of Canada (T-1491-15 and T-1296-15). Pursuant to section 44 of the Access to Information Act, Porter Airlines is opposing the proposed disclosure of information by Transport Canada on the grounds that it is confidential third party information.
The Information Commissioner was also added as a party in three cases before the Federal Court – Apotex Inc. v. Minister of Health and Attorney General of Canada (T-1511-15; T-1782-15 and T-1783.15). Pursuant to section 44 of the Access to Information Act, the Applicant is opposing the proposed disclosure of information by Health Canada on the grounds that it is confidential third party information.
