Direct Deposit Enrolment Form
The Department of Justice will request that all goods and services suppliers enrol in Direct Deposit as of April 1st, 2014.
The Government of Canada is phasing out paper cheques in favour of Direct Deposit for all payments issued by the Receiver General. Direct Deposit is a secure and reliable method of receiving payment, eliminating the risk of lost or stolen cheques.
To enrol in direct deposit with the Department of Justice
- Print and fill out the form:
- For Canadian Vendors
- For United States Vendors
It is essential that you provide a valid email address on the form since all notices of direct deposit with payment details will be emailed to you. Please notify the Department if your email address changes.
Also note that you must sign up for Direct Deposit with all departments and agencies with which you do business individually. Being enrolled in Direct Deposit with the Department of Justice does not automatically enrol you in Direct Deposit with other Government of Canada departments and agencies.
