Alter Ego: Comics and Canadian Identity 

Library and Archives Canada cordially invites you to see its exhibition Alter Ego: Comics and Canadian Identity, presented from May 12 to September 14, 2016, at 395 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario.

The exhibition is open on the first floor, free of charge, from 6 am to 11 pm, Monday to Friday, and 10 am to 6pm on weekends.

Alter Ego: Comics and Canadian Identity. The exhibition features reproductions of art by Canadian comic book artists such as Jeff Lemire, Bryan Lee O’Malley, Darwyn Cooke, and John Byrne. See some of your favourite superheroes from the Marvel and DC universes drawn by Canadians, along with some of Canada’s own finest superheroes. The exhibition also features comics about Canadian history, as well as selections from Canada’s outstanding contribution to the genre of biographical and realist comics.
