GeoConnections is in Inuvik this Summer

As part of its efforts to encourage women and Indigenous inclusion in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields and to develop local capacity, two students have been hired to assist on a geomatics project that will provide a 3-D visualization of the Inuvik Satellite Station Facility (ISSF), an online map to promote the ISSF, and a data layer of the ISSF to add to Minecraft, a popular, collaborative videogame.
