Notice - Canada Post Work Stoppage
The Government of Canada has measures in place to ensure that Canadians continue to receive services and benefits during periods of Canada Post service disruption.
There may be an impact on how Canadians correspond with Justice Canada.
The Department has alternative arrangements in place to allow it to continue to work using courier services to send legal documents, letters and packages to Canadians and the Courts as needed.
Under some federal legislation, there are documents that must be legally sent to Justice Canada. Individuals sending these documents can communicate with the applicable program to find what alternate methods of service are accepted.
