1 The Minister of Finance is designated as responsible minister by Order in Council P.C. 1989-516 dated March 23, 1989 (SI/89-98).

2 The Minister of Finance is the responsible minister for all Budget Implementation Acts although not expressly named as such in each Act.

3 The Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development shares responsibility with the Minister of National Revenue and the Minister of Finance under this Act.

4 The Minister of Finance is designated as responsible minister for the purposes of Part II of the Act by Order in Council P.C.1992-632 dated March 31, 1992 (SI/92-70).

5 The Minister of Finance is designated as responsible minister by Order in Council P.C. 1989-515 dated March 23, 1989 (SI/89-97).

6 The President of the Treasury Board and the Receiver General for Canada also have responsibilities under this Act.

7 The Minister of Finance is designated as responsible minister of the purposes of Part II of the Act (except ss. 46-47) as it relates to the Members of Parliament Retiring Allowances Act by Order in Council P.C. 1983-4091 dated December 22, 1983 (SI/84-6).

8 The Minister of Finance is designated as responsible minister by Order in Council P.C. 1993-1673 dated August 18, 1993 (SI/93-173).

9 The Minister of Finance is designated as responsible minister by Order in Council P.C. 1993-1674 dated August 18, 1993 (SI/93-174).

10 This Act was brought into force on December 14, 2012 by Order in Council P.C. 2012-1743 dated December 13, 2012 (SI/2012-102).
