Court Reporting and Transcription Fees
The Courts Administration Service awards court reporting and transcription contracts across the country. Rates for new contracts that are signed will be provided as the new contracts are issued.
Court Reporting and Transcription Services are being provided by A.S.A.P. Reporting Services Inc. (A.S.A.P.) and International Reporting Inc. (IRI) for the Province of Ontario, as a result of a competitive procurement process. The contracts signed with the Courts Administration Service (CAS) grants A.S.A.P. and IRI the exclusive, non-transferable right to sell copies of the transcripts at the rates specified in the “Basis of Payment” section of the Contract, and in accordance with the agreed turn-around times, format and timing of the order, subject to any limitations imposed by the Courts or the Project Authority. The contracts require that the information set out in the “Basis of Payment” section for the original contract period be publicly disclosed. Any option years that are exercised will be disclosed at that time.
Court reporting and transcription services are provided according to location or type of court case. They are for:
