Annual Reports

Under the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act, the Commissioner has to submit an annual report to both Houses of Parliament. The report details the Office’s activities in the previous fiscal year such as the number of general inquiries and investigations relating to the Act, the decisions, the recommendations, any systemic problems that could give rise to wrongdoings as well as other matters.

 

Strategic Plan

This document outlines the strategic direction of the Office of the Public Sector Integrity Commissioner of Canada (the Office) for the next three years. It builds on the successes and lessons learned by the organization since its creation and most importantly, leverages the high degree of competency and professionalism of its employees.

 

Reports on Plans and Priorities

The Report on Plans and Priorities is an expenditure plan for the Office of the Public Sector Integrity Commissioner of Canada. The Report provides information on the main priorities, the strategic outcomes, the program activities, the planned and expected results and the related resource requirements over a three-year period, with particular emphasis on the upcoming year.

 

Departmental Performance Reports

The Departmental Performance Report is an account by the Office of the Public Sector Integrity Commissioner of Canada of the results achieved against planned performance expectations as set out in the Office’s Report on Plans and Priorities. It covers the most recently completed fiscal year.

 


 

Audit and Evaluation Committee Annual Reports

The Committee provides the Commissioner with independent and objective advice, guidance and assurance on the adequacy of the organization’s internal audit and evaluation functions, as well as on risk management, control, governance, performance measurement and accountability processes.

Quarterly Financial Reports

To increase transparency around Government spending, the Financial Administration Act was amended in 2009 to require departments, agencies and Crown corporations to prepare and make public quarterly financial reports beginning in fiscal year 2011-12. To meet the requirements, the Office publishes its reports on this website within 60 days after the quarter-end. 

 

 

Report on Annual Expenditures for Travel, Hospitality and Conferences

As required by the Treasury Board Directive for the Management of Expenditures on Travel, Hospitality and Conferences, the Office of the Public Sector Integrity Commissioner of Canada provides information on the total annual expenditures for each of travel, hospitality and conferences for each fiscal year.

 

Access to Information and Privacy Annual Reports 

According to section 72 of the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act, the head of every government institution must prepare an annual report on the administration of the Acts within its institution at the end of each financial year, for submission to Parliament.
