Special Exhibition

A Reflection of Who We Are: The Canadian Honours System

The A Reflection of Who We Are exhibit will be presented at Rideau Hall from July 2013 to 2016. Visitors can use interactive touch screens to watch interviews with honours recipients. Actual insignia and medals are displayed, including the Victoria Cross, the Order of Canada, Decorations for Bravery and various military decorations.

The exhibition, A Reflection of Who We Are, explores various facets of the Canadian Honours System. From the history of the System to the accomplishments of recipients, discover what’s behind the insignias and medals. Be inspired by the passion and dedication that characterize the Canadians who have received these honours. In this way, you can continue to reflect on the values that we believe are essential to building a better world.

A Reflection of Who We Are will be presented at Rideau Hall from July 2013 to 2016. The Residence Tour includes a visit of this special exhibition.
