Notice – Information session for the Haitian community in Ottawa: Wednesday, February 10, 2010

February 2, 2010 — Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and Service Canada are participating in an information session for the Haitian community in Ottawa in order to provide people with information on the special immigration measures and how they can sponsor members of their immediate family who were directly and seriously affected by the earthquake in Haiti.

This information session is open to the public and is targeted to people in Canada who want to apply to sponsor their spouses, common-law and conjugal partners, dependent children (including a child adopted abroad), parents and grandparents and orphaned family members (brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews or grandchildren under 18) from Haiti.
