This report is the culmination of two years of research and consultation originated by the Law Commission of Canada to stimulate public discussion about the challenges facing Canadian electoral law and its institutions. The book seeks to clarify the debates surrounding electoral reform by reviewing the proposals and arguments in favour of change; evaluating the relevance and implications of various electoral options; and outlining a new model. Includes recommendations and bibliography.
