Notice – CIC information sessions for the Haitian community in Toronto

January 28, 2010 — Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) is participating in a number of information sessions for the Haitian community in Toronto in order to provide people with information on the special immigration measures and on how they can sponsor members of their immediate family who were directly and seriously affected by the earthquake in Haiti.

The information sessions are open to the public and are targeted to people in Canada who want to apply to sponsor their spouses, common-law and conjugal partners, dependent children (including a child adopted abroad), parents and grandparents and orphaned family members (brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews or grandchildren under 18) from Haiti.

Other sessions in Toronto will be organized. Please check this website for updates.
