In 2010, Kevin Lamoureux was elected Member of Parliament for Winnipeg North. Born in Winnipeg, he attended high school in both Manitoba and Saskatchewan and in 1982, signed up for service with the Canadian Forces, where he served for three years. After leaving the military, Kevin attended the University of Winnipeg part time while working at the Bay and Caprice Distributors.
