New LMI dashboard coming soon!
Statistics Canada will soon launch a new, interactive dashboard that will provide easy, customizable access to key labour market indicators. Users will be able to configure an interactive map and chart showing labour force characteristics at the national, provincial or census metropolitan area (CMA) level. Stay tuned!
Download our Labour Market Indicators (LMI) Desktop Application to:
- Get access to Statistics Canada’s Labour Market Indicators data directly from your desktop;
- Review the latest labour market indicators for Canada, by province and by census metropolitan area;
- View geographical rankings for each labour market indicator;
- Create quick and easy data reports with interactive maps and charts that can be easily copied into other programs.
Supported OS
Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 (32-bit and 64-bit versions).
Supported browsers
This desktop application is a pilot project and only works at this time on Internet browsers that support Microsoft’s ClickOnce deployment (Internet Explorer (IE) 7 or later, Firefox, Google Chrome). For browsers other than IE, plug-ins may be required. ClickOnce is accessible for Firefox via the Microsoft .NET Framework for Firefox plug-in. For Chrome users, a ClickOnce extension named ClickOnce for Chrome has been developed.
The LMI Desktop Application is optimized for 96 dots per inch (DPI).
