Adjustments to the Support Prices of Butter and Skim Milk Powder on September 1, 2016
OTTAWA, July 15, 2016 – The Canadian Dairy Commission (CDC) announced today an increase in the support prices of butter and skim milk powder that will be effective September 1, 2016. The support price of butter will increase from $7.7815 to $8.0062. The support price of skim milk powder will increase from $4.4176 to $4.5302/kg.

OTTAWA, December 16, 2015 – The Canadian Dairy Commission (CDC) announced today an increase in the support price of butter and a reduction in the support price of skim milk powder that will be effective February 1, 2016. The support price of butter will increase from $7.4046 to $7.7815. The support price of skim milk powder will be reduced from $6.3109 to $4.4176/kg.

OTTAWA, January 15, 2015 – The Canadian Dairy Commission (CDC) announced today a reduction in the support price of skim milk powder that will be effective March 1, 2015. The support price of skim milk powder will decrease from $6.4754 to $6.3109 per kg. The support price of butter will remain unchanged.

OTTAWA, December 17, 2013 – The Canadian Dairy Commission (CDC) announced today increases in the support prices for butter and skim milk powder that will be effective February 1, 2014. The support price for butter will increase from $7.3379 to $7.4046 per kg, and the support price for skim milk powder will increase from $6.4170 to $6.4754 per kg.
