Become an ambassador of the Language Portal of Canada

As an ambassador, you play an important role in promoting and creating our language resources:

• You help us promote our content
• You tell us what kind of content you want and need
• You share your stories about how our resources have helped you
• You uncover online treasures for us to publish

Ultimately, we want to build a large, active and representative community to make sure we are offering you what you need.

Together, we can help Canadians communicate effectively—in both official languages.

Who you are

• You love social media and language in equal measure
• You always want to be the first to know, and you like to share your knowledge with others
• You have a solid network of contacts and want to share quality content

What you can do

• Follow, like and comment on Portal content
• Share your favourite pages through your social media accounts
• Share our prepared messages under the Social media tab
• Publish the visuals you find under the Infographics tab
• Ask your employer to add links to the Portal on your intranet site, in the employee newsletter, etc

Guest blogger

Who you are

• You love language, and you itch to write about it
• You've always wanted to be a blogger but never had the time to build a whole blog
• You want to share what you know about language

What you can do

• Let us know what topics or types of posts interest you
• Tell us about your writing experience. (Don’t worry, you don’t need to be a professional!)

Partner

Who you are

• You recognize how our language tools and resources can promote bilingualism and help Canadians
• You're looking for cross-promotion opportunities
• You want to become more involved in the work we do

What you can do

• Tell us about your projects or cross-promotion ideas—we might be able to help you
• Ask us what projects we are working on or will be working on—we would love some help
