The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued several alerts warning the public not to consume certain Daniella brand mangoes because they may be contaminated with Salmonella Braenderup bacteria.

Consumers may find it difficult to determine which of the Daniella brand mangoes, product of Mexico, are affected because only certain shipments have been recalled. Consumers are advised to contact the retailer to find out if they have the affected mangoes. If you are unsure whether a product is part of the recall, the safest course of action is to throw it away.
