You can complete the following tasks by mail:

• Apply by mail if you live:
  • 100km or more from the nearest Service Canada office,
  • in an inaccessible area,
  • where outreach is very infrequent.
    
  To confirm your eligibility to apply by mail, you must verify your postal code.
• You may be able to apply by mail if you have extenuating limitations preventing you from to visiting a Service Canada office and cannot use the assistance of another individual to submit an application.
• Apply by mail if you are applying from outside of Canada.
