The Priorities of the 18th Legislative Assembly were tabled on Thursday, December 17, 2015 during the 1st Session of the 18th Legislative Assembly.

Based on those priorities, a mandate for the Government of the Northwest Territories was developed and adopted by the Legislative Assembly on February 25, 2016. Click here to view the Status of Mandate Commitments.

On March 1, 2016, Premier Bob McLeod issued mandate letters to all Cabinet Ministers, outlining broad expectations and specific responsibilities for advancing the priorities of the Legislative Assembly over its four-year term.
