Elections Yukon
Elections in Yukon are conducted by an independent Office of the Legislative Assembly,
under the direction of the Chief Electoral Officer. This ensures that elections are
conducted in a fair and unbiased manner.
Elections Yukon conducts territorial elections of Members of the Legislative Assembly,
in accordance with the Elections Act. The office also conducts school council and school
board elections, in accordance with the Education Act.

The five school council elections are now complete. 4 school council attendance areas were filled by acclamation. Four of the five by-elections resulted in all vacant positions being filled.
In total, of the 15 vacancies in five school council attendance areas, 12 were filled. One school council attendance area did not fill its vacancies; with only one of four positions filled. For more information click here.
