WHITEHORSE—Premier Darrell Pasloski today issued the following statement on behalf of Yukoners, following the terrorist attacks in Istanbul, Turkey:
“On behalf of Yukoners, I want to express our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed or injured in yesterday’s terrorist attack on the Ataturk international airport in Istanbul.
“Yukon strongly condemns these attacks and we hope that those responsible are swiftly brought to justice.
“During this difficult time Yukon stands with the people of Turkey.”
Yukoners in Turkey or planning to travel to Turkey should consult the Government of Canada’s latest travel advice and advisories.
