TIPP Reports are Anonymous
Anyone who calls the TIPP Line (1-800-661-0525), submits on online form or provides information to a Conservation Officer/Environmental Protection Officer or district clerical staff may remain anonymous. A unique identification number will be assigned to you when your call/form is taken. This number will be used to identify you in any future communications.
Identifying a Conservation Officer
Environment Yukon Conservation Officers have "gone green" by switching to a forest green shirt. The new shirt replaces the khaki shirt worn since the 1970s — a colour that several other enforcement bodies also use. It will now be easier for the public to identify a CO from a distance by his or her uniform. The distinctive CO vehicle markings will not change.
Rewards
If the information you provide concerns a resource violation and results in the laying of a charge by a Conservation Officer, you are automatically eligible for a reward. The person taking your call will provide you with the details of the procedure.
The Yukon Fish and Game Association has a Rewards Committee which oversees the handling of the Reward Fund.
Suspected Violations
Below you will find information on Yukon's unsolved cases. If you have any details about these cases, please report them to the TIPP Line. You will remain anonymous, and may be eligible for a reward.
