Register for Careers at the CRA

The candidate profile for the Canada Revenue Agency’s (CRA) Careers site

About the Candidate profile service

As of December 7, 2015 you need a candidate profile to log in to the CRA's Careers site to apply to job opportunities at the CRA. Once you have registered, and have completed your candidate profile, you will be able to apply to CRA jobs from anywhere with internet access.

Special note for current CRA employees or students:

Your initial registration can only be done from a computer connected to the CRA network (or Secure Remote Access, if you work outside the office). You cannot register for the Careers candidate profile using a computer that is not connected to the CRA network. This registration is a one-time-only process. Once you have created your registration, you can then access your candidate profile using any device from any location. When registering, you must enter your first and last name exactly as they appear on the Display Personal Data page of your Employee Self-Service portal (ESS), otherwise you will receive an error.
