Industry Canada

BDC Growth Capital for Aboriginal Business offers financing to help Aboriginal business people start or grow their business. As an Aboriginal entrepreneur with a solid business plan, you could get up to $25,000 to start a business or up to $100,000 to grow your existing business.

Government of New Brunswick
This site relates to business and professional development for publishers. If you are an established book or periodical publisher, you may be eligible for a grant of up to $2,500 for the training of your staff or board members and to participate in conferences, business meetings or book fairs. New Brunswick Film
Promotional Travel Assistance
The Promotional Assistance Program for Film Producers can help you obtain up to $2,000 for travel costs to festivals and film-related events to which you have been officially invited or selected for screening, or for participating in competitions.

Although they do not provide funding directly to businesses, they support a network of community-based organizations that offer business information and small loans or assist with access to small business financing.

Women’s Enterprise Initiative Loan Program
Western Economic Diversification Canada
This section focuses on the Women’s Enterprise Initiative Loan Program, specifically for the regions of Western Canada. If you are a woman in this region, you can get up to $100,000 to start, grow or buy a business, as well as consulting services and business training. Your company must be 50 per cent-owned by a woman.
