Goods and Services

The Government of Canada purchases approximately $16.05 billion worth of goods and services every year. As the government's main buyer of goods and services (including construction), PWGSC helps federal departments and agencies define their requirements or scope of work, and obtain what they need at the best value.

Find your Good or Service

Find the Goods and Services Identification Number (GSIN) Codes related to your business to navigate across procurement data, including Tenders, Standing Offers and Supply Arrangements, and Contract History. Browse GSIN Codes.

Coming in 2017, the United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC) will replace the Goods and Services Identification Numbers (GSIN) codes. There is no immediate impact to businesses or government buyers. As the transition to UNSPSC is implemented, Tenders, Standing Offers and Supply Arrangements, and Contract History, will be connected and inter-linked using UNSPSC. Visit the United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC) web page to learn more.
