Canadian Institutes of Health Research
The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is Canada's health research investment agency. Our mission is to create new scientific knowledge and to enable its translation into improved health, more effective health services and products, and a strengthened Canadian health care system.
We are part of the Health Portfolio and we work together to maintain and improve the health of Canadians.
We are in the process of moving our services and information to Canada.ca.
Our current Canadian Institutes of Health Research website will remain available until the move to Canada.ca is complete.
