There are a number of ways to do business with the NCC.
The NCC contracts for the provision of goods and services, coordinates the use of all federal lands in Canada’s Capital Region, and offers partnership opportunities. One of the major property owners in the Capital Region, the NCC leases properties and issues permits for the use of NCC land.
To use NCC land, a permit is often needed. There are two types of permits: event permits and land access permits.
Anyone wishing to undertake a project involving federal lands or buildings in the region needs to apply for a federal land use, design and transaction approval.
The NCC owns several hundred properties in Ottawa, Gatineau and the surrounding region that are available for lease at market rates.
The NCC contracts out in accordance with applicable regulations, and its Corporate Administrative Policy and Procedures regarding procurement services.
The NCC has built strong relationships and partnerships with communities and organizations throughout the region and across the country to help build a vibrant Capital.
