What was the most rewarding aspect of the work that you have done to date on behalf of Veterans?

Ray Kokkonen: Watching the markers move forward and we made such big advances in the New Veterans Charter with many thanks to the Veterans Ombudsman and his office. Also, there is another aspect of this that is rewarding to me, is to see the Veterans' community pulling together, and the Veterans' consultation assembly which my organization belongs to and where I sit and have sat for many years. That's really really good for Veterans to have the community brought together. The entire community is represented and reflected in that assembly.
